It was an absolute joy to interview Dubai-based photographer Ekta Saran for this feature. ‘Chasing Bur Dubai’, her photo and video project documenting the hidden lives of one of Dubai’s oldest neighbourhoods, captures so much of what I love about the much-maligned city.
